In total, 10 positions are available. Some of the current Directors will be re-running and welcome the opportunity to work with new Directors that bring a new skill set to the GRA.


Securing meetings with Councillors/staff, law enforcement and fire department. Interviews with media about local events coming up, driving Director meetings.

Vice President

Assisting the President with additional items.


Creating agenda for meetings and taking minutes. Updating BC Online and Bylaws. Assisting the President and other Directors. Emailing members.


Managing GRA books and bank accounts. Providing monthly updates during Director meetings. Filing taxes.

Media and Marketing

Managing social media channels. Updating website. Creating graphics for events. Providing monthly updates at meetings.

General Directors | 5 positions available
  • Attending monthly meetings (sometimes more frequently if an event is coming up).
  • Attending City Council meetings (Directors trade off who is able to attend).
  • Working closely with City Councillors and Administrative staff, local law enforcement and fire department.
  • Working with other Directors to secure sponsorship's for events as well as discount codes for members.
  • Preparing and hosting local events.
These are our standard duties for Directors, however we may change the way we host meetings and events based on the government rules and regulations.
