Dear Glenrosa residents,

I am honored and privileged to have been voted in as your community ambassador. We all chose this robust community as a place to call home and I’m sure we all have an interest in securing & nurturing the spaces that make Glenrosa unique.

As the City of West Kelowna grows & funds are set aside for future development and infrastructure projects, the Glenrosa Resident Association is here to advocate on behalf of the community and petition for major investments within the Glenrosa area.

There is power in numbers & we think it’s important that every household in Glenrosa has the right to be included. So, in order to ensure that our collective voices are all heard,we have decided to move to a FREE membership model. This opens the door for everyone in Glenrosa to have the opportunity to collaborate and share their input.

It takes a village to foster change and we are eager for you to join our cause; whether it be becoming a member, following our handles on social media, sharing our posts, volunteering for local events, or taking on a role on our board, we encourage everyone to get involved.

Now that the pandemic is winding down, we’re ramping up our community efforts. Here are some ways to connect with us in 2022;
  • We’re reinstating COMMUNITY EVENTS, starting with our next ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING We’ll be presenting our vision for the future and talking about some of the major advocacy projects we’re working on. Details coming soon!
  • We’ve re-launched the GLENROSA.ORG website! With a new look & links to all of our areas of focus, you’ll be able to find up to date information in one centralized place
  • Every month, we’ll be posting a SPOTLIGHT piece on our website blog. This is an opportunity to shine a light on a local person, place or business within our community. We’ll share it across all of our social media platforms, showcasing how Glenrosa is a unique and an amazing place to live!
  • We will also be reinstating our QUARTERLY NEWSLETTER with the latest news, spotlight and links to current topics, all Glenrosa related
  • Follow us on FACEBOOK & INSTAGRAM and if you see a post that speaks to you, please share!
  • Engagement and Advocacy is our ultimate goal. We’ll be working closely with The City of West Kelowna, West Kelowna Fire Department, and local RCMP to keep the Glenrosa neighborhood top of mind.
