It is home to three primary schools, a secondary school, many home-based businesses, two store-fronts, parks, trails and a fire hall.

The Glenrosa Residents Association is a registered Society, governed by the Society Act of British Colombia.

The purpose of the GRA is to promote the interests and quality of life of residents of Glenrosa by organizing functions and activities and working closely with community partners and bodies of government to address the issues that matter most to the community.

The Board of Directors is made up of 9 dedicated volunteers who reside in Glenrosa. They hold regular Board meetings to stay on top of initiatives that better the quality of life of Glenrosians, and also meet with other Neighbourhood Associations as well as make an annual presentation to City Council as a collective voice of our community.
